Team Building

Build Community, Grow Together

Team building starts on soccer fields and at tee-ball games as kids, but its value NEVER fades. Team Building with Cookies for Kids' Cancer captures that special spirit in two ways. First, the simple commitment to raise funds for childhood cancer research builds community. But even more, when you support Cookies for Kids' Cancer, you are part of a national team of Good Cookies™ coming together to make a difference each day. Hundreds of businesses, schools, and other groups have selected Cookies for Kids' Cancer as a cause to support.

Getting Started

Whether organizing a club or hosting a company team-building retreat, REGISTER with us in advance. When you register, we provide you with tons of helpful tools and templates, including a personal fundraising page your team can use to inspire others to donate directly towards your efforts online. And our event team will guide you through the steps to help ensure you have a successful Team Building Fundraiser.

Spread the Word

A great way to inspire your team building is to share our ONE Thing video. The 6 minute video tells the story of why Cookies for Kids’ Cancer was started and what is needed to make a difference. Everyone on your team will understand the difference they are making.

Use your team's personal fundraising page to share the details of your efforts, set a fundraising goal and track progress. TIP: Create a challenge to encourage team members to inspire as many online donations as possible!

The Details

Team Building experiences can be as unique as the group participating. Some teams create competitions for who can bake the most, sell the most, raise the most funds for childhood cancer research. Other teams create reflections after the event to look back on what was easy, what was hard, and most importantly what they learned. No matter how you tackle team building, know you're making a difference in the lives of children battling cancer.

Kimberly Gearhart & Sabra Beatty, Ernst & Young

I absolutely love to bake! Anytime I get some free time, I am in the kitchen testing a new recipe or flipping cooking magazines looking for new recipes to try. I have done a small amount of charity baking in the past, but really wanted 2013 to be a year that I got more involved. When I came across the Cookies for Kids' Cancer site, I knew this was the one. The inspirational stories tugged at my heart. I immediately approached my company and asked how we could make this happen... Read more of Kimberly's personal story.
