All-Star Ambassador: Rachel Roberge

I was a volunteer at Memorial Sloan Kettering in pediatrics and knew I had to be involved in a bigger way in the fight against childhood cancer. Then I met the Witt Family and I never looked back. When you've seen a child suffer as a result of having cancer your life is forever changed.

Cookies For Kids' Cancer gets funding to the most cutting edge research trials out there in such a streamlined and timely way. They do that with the help of one of the most effective medical boards around. I'm proud to be a supporter because I know where my funds are going and I see them making a difference in children's lives.

Highlights from my Cookies For Kids' Cancer events always involve seeing our children and our friend's children eager and inspired to help other kids. It's moving to see the way they put their natural compassion to work.

What does it mean to you to be a Good Cookie Ambassador?

Being a Good Cookie Ambassador means continuing to raise awareness about the facts of childhood cancer and continuing to find creative and effective ways to raise funds for research to develop new, improved treatments for children battling this horrible disease.

What inspires me: My two children as well as the brave kids fighting this often frightening and painful disease and their parents who will stop at nothing to save their children.
