John was diagnosed with T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) at the age of 11. He fought through a tough two-and-a-half years of chemotherapy before relapsing. When he was 14, he received a lifesaving haploidentical stem-cell transplantation. His recovery was difficult but thankfully, John is in remission. He embraced the motto Unstoppable Determination during his years of treatment - showing his family, friends and community what it meant to never give up. John is now back at school, enjoying friends and playing golf. He is thankful that Cookies for Kids Cancer supports research that saves children and works alongside his family to raise funds and awareness for this mission.
