Robert cut his teeth on classic cocktails at Jack’s Oyster House, the oldest family owned restaurant in Albany, NY. Since then, Robert has been the bar manager at several acclaimed restaurants, including: The Refectory in Columbus, OH; Oscar’s of St. James on Long Island, NY; and Yono’s/dp brassierie in Albany, NY. His appreciation for spirits, libations and chef inspired concepts has pushed him to the front of the cocktail renaissance in Upstate NY, where he served as creative director and manager of Speakeasy 518 located in Albany. In April 2016, Robert transitioned to the distilling operations team at Prohibition Distillery, where he is working to help develop the next generation of craft spirits.
Robert is thrilled by the opportunity to volunteer for Chefs for Kids' Cancer event and be able to share his work with the best and brightest in the industry for such a great cause.
