Emma Alden

Executive Pastry Chef, Manhatta

After a childhood love of baking propelled her decision to enroll in the pastry arts and restaurant management programs at ICE, Emma honed her skills at many well-regarded New York restaurants such as The NoMad, Betony, and Batard. 

Emma joined Manhatta as the executive pastry chef in 2018, and draws inspiration from the history of New York City, local ingredients, and her personal connection to the city to come up with the restaurant's thoughtfully comforting dessert offerings.
