Robert cut his teeth on classic cocktails at Jack's Oyster House, the oldest family owned restaurant in Albany, NY. Since then, Robert has been the bar manager at several acclaimed restaurants, including: The Refectory in Columbus, OH; Oscar's of St. James on Long Island, NY; and Yono's/dp brassierie in Albany, NY.
His appreciation for spirits, libations and chef inspired concepts has pushed him to the front of the cocktail renaissance in Upstate NY, where he is the creative director and manager of Speakeasy 518 located in Albany.
Robert has worked as a judge for the NYS Restaurant Assoc. Pro-Start Competition for several years. He is an award winning bartender and cocktail consultant with several distilleries and cocktail programs in New York and around the country. Robert has also been a participant in the Manhattan Cocktail Classic for the past two years.
Robert is thrilled by the opportunity to volunteer for the Childhood Cancer Foundation and Cookies for Kids Cancer and be able to work with the best and brightest in the industry for such a great cause.
