Always cutting and pasting something from the time he was old enough to hold things in his hands, Rick’s latest art form came about as part of his recovery therapy from surgery and takes on an eclectic dimension, as has much of his life.
Each piece he creates is inspired by his personal photography of street graffiti, street art, vintage art or images that “speak to him” as he walks the New York streets.
Rick’s art incorporates real New York graffiti into each work and incorporates facets of street art, graffiti, signage, and photography into multimedia art using a wide variety of mediums. - "taking street art and moving it inside".
All combined with masterful color, he was artistically inspired by Japanese rabble-rouser Yayoi Kusam. Check out his work here.
