Allen Evans


Chef Allen Evans began working in restaurants as a teenager where his hobby and side job turned into a life long passion for food. After a detour to business school, he realized that his true calling was in the kitchen and transferred to Johnson and Wales University to further his education in the culinary arts.His post graduate experience started at Fish in Charleston, SC where he was pushed to create his own dishes and collaborated with an eclectic group of chefs. He started experimenting with different cuts of meat and charcuterie work at Vintage (Charleston,SC) , where he was eventually promoted to Sous Chef. There his initiative in butchery further progressed his abilities to bring something new and exciting to the table.He began working as Chef de Cuisine at Corkbuzz Restaurant and Wine Bar in the summer of 2015 where he creates traditional southern dishes, and customizes menus for wine pairing menus and special events.
