Annual Toms Cookie Crumble

A little bit about me: I LOVE cookies...but I HATE cancer.

In November 2014, I was inspired and touched by an article in Parents Magazine on pediatric cancer -- and how under-funded research for treatment is - and decided to do something to support the cause. Annually, I love getting a big group of girls together for the "Toms Cookie Crumble," a cookie swap at my home to benefit Cookies For Kids' Cancer.  We pack on a few calories tasting and swapping delicious cookies, but more importantly, raise thousands of dollars for the organization.

I look forward to doing this annually with friends and family, but you don't have to bake to get involved. Feel free to donate to the non-profit through this page - cancer is the #1 cause of death of children by disease in the U.S. There are 40,000 U.S. children actively battling cancer right now. With less than 4% of the National Cancer Institute's budget going to all childhood cancer combined, it's more important than ever to get involved.

Thanks for your support!
