Charlotte Good Cookie Campaign

From day one of Cookies for Kids' Cancer, the Charlotte community has been a national leader in support of fundraising for childhood cancer research. And this year, the Queen City came together in new, amazing ways. It was one campaign for one cause with many ways to give that resulted in more donations than ever before from this place we call home. What was the total? Hold on tight. First, let's reflect on the ways we exceeded our goals.  

  • You came out for the inaugural Pint Challenge in October thanks to the support of seven local breweries!
  • You and 500 Charlotteans supported the cookies-and-cocktails palooza known as Chefs for Kids' Cancer - Queen City on Tuesday, November 10th. 
  • You hosted small events and inspired businesses - from Chick-fil-A in Huntersville to Park Road Shopping Center - to Be a Good Cookie and give to the campaign.
  • You baked, organized and GAVE to the 8th Annual Charlotte Bake Sale, found all around the city during first weekend in December. 
Together, these events - made possible by YOU - exceeded expectations and raised nearly $380,000 for research into new, improved, and less toxic therapies for children battling cancer.
