Go Amelia - Good Cookies

$17,059.37 raised

You're likely on this page because you already know Amelia. She was diagnosed at 15 months old with leukemia and is still fighting, most days with a smile on her face.

But do you also know this: cancer in children is NOT RARE. Cancer is the #1 cause of death of children by disease in the U.S. There are 40,000 U.S. children actively battling cancer right now. And less than 4% of the National Cancer Institute's budget goes to childhood cancers.

How can you help? You can donate online here or buy items that support research. I picked this fundraiser because the money goes directly to the most promising trials. The grants from Good Cookies have led to 36 promosing treatments and trials since 2008.

You can also give at our bake sale table on Saturday, Sept. 23 at the New Paltz Karate Academy / Traditional Okinawan Karate shiai event at Lenape Elementary School in New Paltz. We will have cookies, wrist bands, Krauses Chocolates and more.

Together we can make a difference for kids' battling cancer. Thank you for your support!
