Starla (pictured) is 10 years old, lives in Alabama, and encourages everyone to sign up.
“Every day, so many families and kids are told they have cancer. I know because I was one of those kids! I'm going to host a Good Cookie Challenge fundraiser in September so I can raise money to find cures for kids who get cancer. And it's going to be really fun so you should host one, too!”
Bay Minette resident, Leslie McCraney is one Good Cookie who is set to fundraise and involve her community.
In 2018, Leslie fundraised with her local schools and churches, and also held a Painting Party (a ladies night in a local clubhouse with snacks, painting supplies, and a guest speaker). Good Cookies across Alabama got involved and donated vital funds for pediatric cancer research.
“The Good Cookie Challenge is for everyone to support children and families impacted by cancer - from families, to schools, businesses and community groups. You can host a bake sale with cookies, or fundraise in your own creative way. Simply commit to be a Good Cookie for childhood cancer in September.”
