Pastry Chef & Owner, Momofuku Milk Bar

Christina Tosi is the chef, owner and founder of Momofuku Milk Bar, called "one of the most exciting bakeries in the country" by Bon Appetit Magazine. As founder of the dessert program at Momofuku, Christina helped Momofuku Ko earn two stars from the Michelin Guide and Momofuku Ssäm jump onto Restaurant Magazine's top 100 restaurants in the world list.

Since its opening in November of 2008, Milk Bar has focused on putting a playfully American, approachable spin on familiar home-style desserts and savory snacks using quality ingredients and locally-sourced dairy. Popular items include cereal milk™ ice cream, compost cookies®, and crack pie®.

Milk Bar has a total of six locations, including an international location in Toronto, Canada. Christina Tosi and Milk Bar have been featured in television programs and publications world-wide such as The Today Show, Good Morning America, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Conan, The New York Times, The Guardian, Vogue, Vogue Australia and In Style Magazine.

Christina released her first cookbook, Momofuku Milk Bar, in October 2011, which includes all the cult favorites from the kitchen. Her next book, Milk Bar Life: Recipes and Stories, is set to be released in April 2015. She is the 2012 recipient of the James Beard Rising Star Chef award. Christina also eats an unconscionable amount of cookies every day.
