December 2007 – CNN

CNN featured the first ever Cookies for Kids’ Cancer bake sale while educating viewers on the realities of Neuroblastoma, a deadly “orphan” pediatric cancer. Dr. Nai-Kong Cheung, head of Neuroblastoma research at Memorial-Sloan Kettering is interviewed. Mother’s Day takes on new meaning when your child is battling cancer, but this Mother’s Day was extra special thanks to the special women in New York City who organized an all-day bake sale for Cookies for Kids’ Cancer. The sale, featured in the CBS News National story, raised over $20,000 while providing fun at Washington Square Park during Mother’s Day weekend.
