Cookies for Kids' Cancer is a simple way for people everywhere to get involved in the fight against pediatric cancer. What does that fight need? Funds for research into new treatments and a cure. Holding a "Bake Sale" is easy for anyone to do. We want to encourage you by providing the tools needed for individuals, schools, churches, and businesses to hold a bake sale. You may choose to hold a large bake sale with the help of friends or to keep it simple like we did and just offer cookies.
Like all bake sales, a Cookies for Kids’ Cancer bake sale starts as a way to collect a simple donation in exchange for a cookie or other tasty baked good. But there is a bigger purpose – to share the facts about pediatric cancer and the need for better treatments. As a bake sale host, you represent Cookies for Kids’ Cancer with the hope that those making donations will want to join in the cause. Your passion and desire to help will be contagious. Your efforts will encourage others to make a donation.
Your bake sale will be somewhat of a billboard, attracting many passersby. Some will simply want to make a donation. Many may have a friend, neighbor or schoolmate they know who is a cancer survivor. Others will share a story with you about someone they lost to cancer. Cancer touches most if not all of our lives in one way or another. For this reason you will find most everyone who passes by your bake sale will want to support, encourage and thank you for your efforts.
