This is our son, Drew. At just 5 ½ months old, drew was diagnosed with Pre-B Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Now 12 months old, he’s had cancer for literally half of his life. He is currently undergoing treatment at Levine Children's Hospital in Charlotte, NC.
Unfortunately Drew’s type of cancer carries an automatic minimum treatment time of 2 years, though it all goes well, the second year will be mostly outpatient maintenance therapy.
He's a tough little boy with an amazing spirit. He has been through a lot, including nearly 3 months’ worth of nights in the hospital, and has had some complications from the chemo. But we are thankful. All things considered, everything overall is going well so far.
