Wrap Text around Image Morgan Our daughter Morgan was diagnosed with stage IV high-risk neuroblastoma at the age of 5. She has tirelessly fought through 6 rounds of high dose chemo, 2 surgeries, 14 doses of radiation and antibody therapy before becoming NED (no evidence of disease) 12 months later. Since then, Morgan has relapsed three times; twice in her bone and once in her bone marrow. After many more cycles of chemo and radiation and antibody therapy, she is once again NED.

Cookies For Kids Cancer has held a huge part in giving our daughter hope, in the form of a life-saving treatment for her cancer. She helped to fundraise at the age of 6 for the very trial that Cookies For Kids Cancer helped to fund, hu3f8. Currently, Morgan is on a two year clinical trial of hu3f8. This trial is keeping the cancer at bay, while she lives life as a normal 10 year old.

Now, at 10 years old, Morgan is an advocate for childhood cancer research. Through bake sales, pageants and other various fundraisers, she speaks of the need for better, less toxic and less painful treatments so that other kids won't have to endure what she has for half of her young life.

Cancer does not just affect the patient, but is a debilitating disease that affects the whole family. This cause has become a huge part of our lives as a family, not only because of Morgan's journey, but because of the extreme number of children fighting cancer every day. Fighting together as a family gives us purpose and hope. The pain and suffering that these children live with has to end. This can only be achieved if we work together to raise funds for research to find a cure for this life threatening disease.
