On Thursday evening, February 26th, 45 acclaimed chefs, 500 guests and 11,900 cookies could all be found at The Waterfront in New York City for the 2nd Annual Chefs for Kids' Cancer gala to raise funds for childhood cancer research. With chefs preparing 4-course custom meals for individual tables, pastry chefs creating 14 different cookies, a live auction with once-in-a-lifetime experiences, and a private concert from John Rzeznik of The Goo Goo Dolls, attendees were overwhelmed by the spirit of giving. Donations total over $1.1 million...and counting. The generosity of so many chefs, sponsors, donors and supporters make it possible to join together and live out our mission to help children battling cancer. We believe TOGETHER WE CAN.

On February 25, 2014, hundreds gathered in New York City for the inaugural Chefs for Kids' Cancer event. A magical evening, more than 40 of the best chefs in NYC, from Food Network stars to award-winning cookbook authors, cooked meals for individual tables. Special appearances were made by Mario Batali and Paul Rudd, and Barenaked Ladies performed an intimate acoustic set.
