Matthew Conway is the beverage director and general manager at Restaurant Marc Forgione. Conway has built a global list that features producers who respect the history and origin of the grapes they farm and bottle. Conway has a special love for Syrah from the Northern Rhône region but prides himself on a creating a program built for all drinkers by providing a diverse and ever changing beverage program. Conway is a graduate of New York City’s American Sommelier Association, worked for Chef Gray Kunz at Café Gray in the Time Warner center from ’04-’07 and Taillevent in Paris for the summer of 2010. He is a certified coffee sommelier, one of Zagat’s “30 Under 30” in 2012, and Star Chefs named him one of its “Rising Star Sommeliers” in 2015.
