Born in Honolulu, Ryan left for NY and started bar tending in college to earn extra cash. After graduating, he went to work at the Oak Room in New York. It was during his time at the Oak Room that he learned the art of classic cocktails and found his passion. Ryan helped create cocktail programs for the Four Seasons Hotel NYC, Tomoka NYC, and Take Me Out NYC tours. He’s been featured at Art Basel Miami and Food and Wine’s Brooklyn’s Backyard. He is now VP/Owner of Pacific Standard, A 9 year old American Craft Beer Bar in Park Slope, Brooklyn.
