Isobel Shirley

Artist

Growing up in the music industry, Isobel Shirley started working with acts such as Paul Weller, Noel Gallagher, Mott the Hoople and Peter Frampton aged 14. Whilst studying at Central St Martins in London, Isobel turned her attention to visual arts. Alongside building her own art practice, Isobel ran various gallery and event spaces providing a platform for an international roster of emerging artists and launching them in new markets. Isobel has exhibited in and curated exhibitions in London, New York and Chicago.

An interest in business led Isobel into the fashion industry where she has accumulated over 10 years experience in creative collaborations and event production across Art, Fashion and Music. Isobel has worked with the likes of of Live Nation, Kanye West, Frank Ocean, The Flaming Lips, SHOWstudio, Garage Magazine, W Magazine, Damien Hirst and Ermeneguildo Zegna. Whether through photography,  illustration, video animation or hand customized clothing, Isobel’s work currently focuses on visual explorations of her own (or her collaborators) emotional experiences within a  certain physical space.

A keen philanthropist, Isobel aims to use her work as a means to support good causes, including donating percentages of all clothing and print sales to various charities and helping musicians she works with get involved with local non profit organizations whilst on tour.
